Overnight Shelter
Agape Village has 2 overnight shelters providing a safe night of sleep. Both have the same basic expectations.
-
Both shelters are "come and sleep" meaning once you arrive, if you leave, you cannot return until the next night.
-
Drug use is not permitted while in the shelter.
-
No weapons allowed.
-
Guests are expected to be able to respect staff, other guests, and the space.
-
Neither shelter has showers.
-
Pets are welcome as long as they are contained (on leash, or in a crate)
-
All guests' pictures will be taken, given a badge, and basic information gathered upon check-in.
-
Guests can stay for up to 90 days unless they engage in services (case management, housing, etc...).
-
Guests will be let in, in the following order:
-
Group A - those guests who were in the shelter the previous night
-
Group B - those guests who have stayed at some point in the last 3 months
-
Group C - first time guests are let in on a first come basis
